^Lot 1171 Yugo M98/48 8mm SN: G9818

Bolt action rifle. 95% blued finish. Wood stock, and handguard. Modeled after the German K98 Infantry rifle/ 22 1/2" barrel, Hooded front sight, adjustable rear sights. Serial# matches on the receiver, stock, bolt, and magazine plate. Crest on chamber. Bore appears good/bright, but dirty. Action is very weak, most likely from a build-up of cosmoline in the bolt. Metal has a thick coat of cosmoline applied. Stock and handguard are in fair shape with some deep scratches by the barrel band, and other small scratches. A fair conditioned gun, that could clean up to very good. NRA Condition-Fair Modern Firearm.
